Kindergarten!

Yesterday was Gia's first day of Kindergarten! What an exciting day!

She laid her clothes out the night before...

Ate a yummy breakfast...
Got to school early...

Said bye to Momma...

And Daddy walked her to Room 15!

Gia reported that she had a great day. Her favorite thing about Kindergarten was "everything." She also said that the funniest thing about her day was when a girl in her class fell asleep during story-time! Hooray for a great first day of school!

Dancing Queen!

Back in June, Ella had her first dance recital! She did an awesome job dancing to "Material Girl." Ella worked very hard all year so that she could wear "big girl" make-up, a beautiful costume, and dance on stage at the University of Pennsylvania! Everyone was VERY proud of her!

We love Strasburg Railroad! We have been there many times! Every year when Thomas the Tank Engine comes, we are sure to visit. This year was our fourth trip to see Thomas.

Busy Girls!

This is the girls first season playing t-ball. They are enjoying their team, and their skills are really improving. They play at the YMCA, and their team is the Reds. Every Saturday they have a short practice and then a 40ish minute game. In that 40 minutes each team of 10 players bats twice. There are no strikes, no outs and everybody scores. It is quite comical to watch! A few of the kids are quite good, but the best part for all of them seems to be the post-game snack...

Ballet Bella!

Ella just loves to dance! She and Gia started dancing this past September. After about 3 months, Gia decided that she didn't want to dance anymore, but Ella stuck with it. She is very excited for her recital which is coming up in June. She can't wait to "dance on stage at the college (University of Pennsylvania) and wear REAL make-up, not the fake little kid kind." Thursday was parent observation day so here are a few pics...

Beautiful Girls

Here are the newest pictures of us. Momma just took them today while we played outside. She always says we're gorgeous girls!

Ok, this picture isn't of us girls, but it was taken by Ella. Ella says she wants to be a photographer when she grows up. Momma says she can be anything she wants, and with pictures like this she can certainly be a photographer.

Gia wants to be a painter when she grows up. She plans to live at home and paint pictures. She wants to go all over the world to sell her pictures and have Momma drive her...

Playing outside is our absolute favorite thing to do! Now that Momma is home with us, we get to play outside everyday. We love our swingset, and both of us have finally learned how to pump our legs and swing all by ourselves! This makes Momma and Daddy VERY happy! We also love to ride our bikes, scooters and big wheels. Any time we play outside, we always end up in Mommom and Poppop's yard. They love it, especially when Lucky comes with us!

The weather has been especially nice lately, so here are some pictures of us enjoying ourselves!

On Sunday, it was very hot, over 90 degrees and humid. Daddy thought it was the perfect day to break out the Slip N Slide...Lucky agreed!

Magic Kingdom

What fun we had in the Magic Kingdom! Our day started with an exciting ride on the monorail and just got better from there! Between rides, we had a yummy lunch in The Crystal Palace. We got to see the characters from Winnie the Pooh! We also had a special visit to the Bippidy Boppidy Boutique where we were transformed into real princesses by our Fairy Godmothers! Talk about girl heaven! We ended our magical day by watching fireworks for the first time ever!
